A very nice bi-product of working face to face with clients, craftsman, and suppliers over many years is the great relationships you make. Recently a sales representative who once owned his own window treatment company, retained us to provide window treatment for his dining room. Given his vast experience in the market, (he works with designers and window treatment companies throughout NJ) he knew he could count on Flemington Decor to meet his expectation for style and quality.

For the windows we chose a sheer fabric that met the client’s light-flow expectation but one with enough substance to pleat and drape nicely. And the natural color complements the wallpaper very well.

The fabric selected is a machine-washable sheer batiste. This fabric, from Flair21, a German-based company. It is fade resistant, unlike many sheer window fabrics, and is available in a wide array of colors. As you can see from the photo, they hang beautifully, and require little to no pressing to achieve a great look. Many sheer fabrics easily snag or stretch; not this one.
